A good word will make you glad!

“Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad” Proverbs 12:25, ESV.

Your mind is a powerful tool and if you can discipline it to think on the right things, like a good word, you’ll experience the freedom and joy that resides through Christ in us. The Father has left us so much good word to think about and live free, so many mighty promises toward us, which when He couldn’t swear by none greater, He swore by Himself to keep everyone He made. He didn’t do it because He had to, but He did it to affirm His love and for your peace. He did it to settle all disputes in your heart and mind. For every matter of life, the Father left no room for anxiety to have a foothold on your day, on your life, and to be weighed down. With knowing God is for you, everything is going to be alright.

Get a good word from God, put a promise on your heart, and let it make you glad today.

Prayer: Father, I give you praise. Thank you for every good word that lifts me up. I give all anxiety and anything weighing me down to you. I will pray, not worry. Help me to keep my heart and mind on a good word from you. You say you are for me. You say you will provide and that makes me glad. Hallelujah! In Jesus’ name, Amen!

“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.” – Philippians 4:8
