“For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable [for He does not withdraw what He has given, nor does He change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call]” Romans 11:29, NKJV.
Last night, I had the opportunity to be used by God. It was short but powerful. I was so thankful to carry gifts and a calling, in spite of what I’ve been through, in spite of my delays, He’ll never take away. I woke up with a deep appreciation for the God who waits.
It’s amazing the things God could have taken away from you, but He didn’t. He’s been good to you. He has waited on you. As the Father has waited for the precious fruit of the earth, so He has done with you. People would have given up on you, but He didn’t. Receive a deep appreciation for the gifts you have, the grace and power that rests on your life. Don’t take them or your days for granted. It’s only reasonable for you to go do what He’s called you to do.
Prayer: Father, I give you praise and glory. I sincerely thank you for the gifts and calling on my life that you will never take away. You’ve been patient with me and I’m still here. May I not take it for granted. Help me to see all the great needs in the hour and do what you’ve called me to do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
