“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” Joshua 1:9, ESV.

This past Sunday as a father, I needed to spend some time with the kids and began to pray to God for an idea. He told me to have a surprise family water balloon fight. It sounds small but immediately, questions came to me if it would be a success, and if I could do something that my family would overwhelmingly enjoy. Just over something as small as water balloons, a fear of failure came. The fear that I’m not enough came. Yet, I chose to believe and obey God, and they had a blast! The whole family was talking about it and are so excited, they wanted to do it again and again. God told me you can start something and it turn out great!

God says to you this morning my brother, you can start something, you can build something and don’t worry about how it will turn out. It will turn out great. The Lord is with you! God’s will is enough. His Spirit and His gift in you is enough. You are enough. You may feel nervous, and fear may be at your heels, but do it anyway. Whether it’s something as small as an idea for time with your family or you stepping out on what God has put in your heart, only believe. Obey Him. You are favored to succeed. You are full of kingdom impact. I declare over you that nothing will keep you from the greatest faith moments and triumphs of your life.

Prayer: Father, I give you praise and glory. I thank you for encouraging me that I can do something and it succeeds. Yes, me. When you author it, Lord, it will work. What you have been telling me to do, I choose to obey you. Help me not to give place to fear, but only faith. You have put great impact in me and I am enough. It will turn out great. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
