“Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance” Psalm 42:5, NKJV.
My brother, come out of that funk.
“Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance†Psalm 42:5, NKJV.
“The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles†Psalm 34:17, NKJV.
Sometimes, we all can find ourselves in a funk. I know from experience what it is like to be in a funk, but God helped me come out of it. Brother, God is going to do the same for you. He’s there to help you come out of that funk of depression. You are an overcomer through Jesus. You are His son, and He is your Father who loves you. You are who He says you are, and you don’t have to stay there a minute longer. Don’t live there. Don’t allow your day to reside there. Come out of that funk and press on. God’s been too good and too faithful for you to stay there. He’s too good and loves you too much to not hear your prayers and bring great rescue into your life. The devil wants you to stay in that funk but give him no victory. Come out of it, get up, and live.
Prayer: Father, thank you for hearing me. You’re too good for me to stay in a funk today. You’re too faithful. You’re too in control! Help me to set my hope and fix my heart on you, Jesus. I decide to give the enemy no place. I come against depression and any regret and will rejoice in the land of the living. I will live today. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
