Have you ever been pursuing something God has called you to do, then all of a sudden, out of nowhere, things begin to happen to stop your focus and pursuit? Many times those very things have been sent to stop you from experiencing the will of God for your life, even to get you out of a place of peace.
Trouble can put you at a standstill if you allow it to. Don’t break down. Breakthrough. Feelings are temporal, yet we don’t live by them. We live higher. You live by faith and by the Holy Spirit, who navigates you with wisdom through them. Live higher, keeping your mind on the Waymaker and the prize of your high calling. Put your attention on the assignment at hand and what you know to do. You may not know everything, yet move forward in what you do know and keep praying regarding your circumstance. You may be experiencing a financial challenge, but don’t let it keep you from seeking God. You may need an answer, but live higher, trusting the Lord will provide them. Keep your eyes on Jesus and on your press.
Let nothing stop you.
Prayer: Thank You, Father, for encouraging me. I see the distractions that come, and the devil is trying to hinder me. I will not let this stop me. I choose to live higher. My heart is fixed, trusting in you. I will walk in joy and peace. I put my attention on You now, and I will keep pressing forward in what you’ve told me to do. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
