“Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them” Matthew 28:16 NKJV.
“So he, trembling and astonished, said, ‘Lord, what do You want me to do?’ Then the Lord said to him, ‘Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do'” Acts 9:6, NKJV.
Jesus had appointed or designated, a place where the disciples were supposed to be. There He gave them the Great Commission, and they went on to do mighty things for God.
Has Jesus appointed a place for you to be right now, and are you there? There will be nothing better than being in the right place at the right time in this season of your life. There’s nothing better than simply being in the perfect will of God for you. Like a doctor’s visit you don’t want to miss, it’s vital to stay focused walking in what the Lord has appointed for you. When you look and see others running their race, don’t get so focused on their race because it can keep you from running your own. It’s not about where someone is but where you are–right where Jesus wants you to be. If you’re not, don’t worry. Jesus will help you get there. If you’ve made some wrong turns in life, don’t worry. God miraculously restores when you’re where He wants you to be.
Prayer: Father, I praise you and thank you for speaking to me. Help me be where I’m supposed to be. Help me be in the center of your will for my life. If I’m somewhere or doing something you have not appointed for me, make it known and help me change course. Your will is the best place for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
