“By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches and honor and life” Proverbs‬ ‭22:4‬, ‭NKJV‬.

“But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble” ‭‭James‬ ‭4:6‬, NKJV‬‬.

I was at a men’s conference in Statesboro, Georgia this year, and I opened up to a group of men that God placed on my heart to do sketch comedy and it was something that would move me out of my comfort zone. Ministry was easy, but comedy? Me? It just didn’t add up. Yet, I shared with them my God idea and they liked it. I didn’t know it, but one of the men I was sitting with was an up-and-coming entertainment lawyer and he shared some great wisdom to help me be successful. I began feeling more comfortable and confident about obeying the Lord.

Transparency will work every time. God will see your humility in your transparency, provide grace and bless you. You could talk to the very person God will use to encourage you through your circumstance. You could talk to the very person God uses to catapult you into your destiny.

Prayer: Father, I praise You and give you all the glory. Transparency works every time. Help me to humble myself and be transparent anytime you tell me to. Great blessings will pour from it into my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
