Rest in His Ability

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:20‬ ‭NKJV‬.

You may not have it all together, but God does. You may not know everything, but God does. You can’t change anyone’s heart, but God can. Your heavenly Father is all-powerful, knows all, and He sees all.

Instead of focusing on your inabilities, rest in God’s supernatural ability. This is what creates peace and a bold strength in our lives. This is what removes any pressure we’ve placed on ourselves to make it happen, to have it all figured out, or to change anyone. It will lift the heavy burden off of your shoulders as a man and brings joy. It will clear the way to hear Him speak to you. Resting in God’s ability is your constant stance of faith that allows God and His power to go to work in your life and your situations.

Prayer: Father God, I give You praise! Thank You for speaking directly to me. I put my focus on You, on Your word, and on what only You can do. You are my God, and nothing is too hard for You! I declare I walk in peace and joy as I rest in Your ability. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

  1. Every day, every word, is accurate and persise. Helping me to prayerfully refocus my meditations, and my priorities for each day.
Having four sons 13-18, I find it more important then ever to have something that I have received from the Lord, something to share with my boys and others.
I am quite thankful for this devotional.
    Blessings,

    1. Good morning Ryan! To God be the glory, and that’s so awesome. I have 4 boys myself, so I know exactly what you mean. We are so thankful that the Father is using this ministry to bless you and your family’s life. May He continue to shine His face upon you and show you the exact wisdom you need for any given situation. May He prosper the work of your hands and cover your family. Great things are ahead. Keep going, my brother. God bless you, Bro. Bernard – SOTK
