“And Elijah came to all the people, and said, ‘How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him’…” 1 Kings 18:21, NKJV.
“But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind” James 1:6, NKJV.
For some of us, it isn’t necessarily what we’ve done or didn’t do. It isn’t what happened, or what a sovereign God allowed. It is when we pray to God in faith and pursue to have faith, yet something in your past keeps affecting how you view what your life will be ahead of you. What’s behind us keeps us tossing back and forth in our trust of what can receive ahead of us.
God is with you and He is going to meet you with His glorious will for you. He has the final say, and since He does, you make it final too. No more tossing to and fro between two opinions. No more tossing to and fro because of circumstances. No more of an experience affecting you to the degree of holding you back. Your best days are here. Despite it all, you make it final that you will believe with courage what God has spoken over you!
Prayer: Father, I thank You for helping me. You have the final say! This man makes it final today. I put a period behind it today. My past is gone and my best days are still here. When I pray, I will ask in faith and believe what You say. Hallelujah! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
