“Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” 1 Timothy 2:1-4 NKJV.
Father, we give you praise and glory this morning. You are good and Your mercy endures forever. We take time today to pray for others. We intercede for the nations and the people of Ukraine and Russia. We ask for you your divine intervention regarding the threat of war. Touch the hearts of all those in leadership and according to Your word, we declare the heart of the king is in Your hand and we thank You for turning it as You will. Speak to their hearts and cause them to hear from You.
We pray for peace and justice, and that You minister to the root of every motive and meet their deepest need. We ask for divine protection over the people of Ukraine and Russia, as well as all surrounding nations. Cover their minds and emotions, and bless them with peace. The Lord of Armies Jehovah Sabaoth is by their side. We give You praise for being awesome and faithful. Be glorified. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen!
