“Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest’ ” Matthew 9:37-38, NKJV.

“The fruit of the [consistently] righteous is a tree of life, And he who is wise captures and wins souls [for God—he gathers them for eternity]” Proverbs 11:30, Amplified.

I went out to meet someone about something I was considering buying on Facebook. I didn’t like it, but he said he could get more so I was cool with it. Then, I just very casually and unforced, asked him was he a christian? He said no, and began to laugh and smile. So I pulled out my phone and took him through some scriptures about our need for Jesus, and that God gave him as a solution for us. I asked him would he like to be saved today? He said yes. I then prayed a prayer of salvation with him. He said, “Man, I feel good! Thank you!” Low and behold he told me He had been thinking about it, but just hadn’t done anything.

You may not realize it, more than you know there are people in these times that the Lord is already dealing with about receiving Him. He’s already been been talking to them and they are ready to receive. They are ready for salvation and a change in their lives. Lean in and keep an open ear for the Holy Spirit to lead you to wisely share Jesus with someone. The harvest is ready. Be open to be a laborer today.

Prayer: Thank You Father! You are good! You desire to bring people to receive Jesus, and there are people that are ready. You’ve already been dealing with their hearts. Give me a hearing ear Holy Spirit when You want to use me and help me use wisdom in sharing Jesus with them. Give me courage and boldness, and most of all, Your great love for people to bring in Your harvest. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
