“Keep out of debt and owe no man anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor [who practices loving others] has fulfilled the Law [relating to one’s fellowmen, meeting all its requirements]” Romans 13:8, Amplified, Classic.
“…For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away” James 4:14, NKJV.
I went to my Aunt’s homegoing yesterday, and I was reminded how short life can be. Even when we live long, it’s still a brief moment. With all the things we experience that are hurtful to each other on our journey, I am reminded of how life is too short to hold on to stuff. It’s best to let it go.
While you’re on this earth, pursue to do three things each day: Love everybody. Forgive everybody. Help somebody. If you do these three simple things, you’ll make the Lord smile and please Him with your life. You’ll live a happy life. You’ll change someone’s life. Your life would have had meaning when you’re gone.
Prayer: Father, thank You for this great reminder, especially with these times we are in. Help me to not hold on to stuff. Life is like a vapor. Help me to let it go. Help me Jesus to love everybody, forgive everybody and help somebody each day. May I walk out my life purpose and leave a mark when I’m gone. This will make You happy Father, and You’ll bless me to live a happy life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
