The Road to Winning

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world” John 16:33, NKJV.

Sometimes, it will appear like the enemy has the upper-hand. It will look like you’re too far gone or you waited too late. No open doors or signs that it’s going to change will not be in site. It doesn’t look like you’re going to win.

Many have looked like they weren’t going to win, but with God they did.

Sometimes, that’s the road to winning. It won’t look like you’re going to win, but you are and you will. Jesus said you will have tribulation. He didn’t deny it or sugar coat it. He said you will have it. Yet, that’s not the end of that verse, nor is it how it will end for you. Jesus said He has already overcome it for you.

So through the eyes of Jesus, with His mighty perspective, see your victory in everything, and decide to be of good cheer. All it means is that your victory is going to be that much sweeter when you win. The greater the trial, the greater your blessing will be.

Prayer: Father, thank You that although it doesn’t look like I will win, I am and I will. Sometimes, it’s a part of winning. Have Your way in me. Help me to count it all joy and be of good cheer. That’s my decision today. Jesus has overcome for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
