“And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment” Mark 12:30, NKJV.
In sports, there’s a term coaches use when they want their players to give their best. That coach will ask them to be “all in”.
The Father desires us to be all in when it comes to loving Him above anything else, living for Him not for anything else, and Who we see Him as in our lives. The Message Bible terms it as with all your passion and prayer and intelligence and energy.
He is our Sustainer, our Provider, our Strength, our Deliverer, our Source, our Healer, our Peace, our wisdom, and righteousness. He is Who we love the most. When He calls our phone, we answer. If we were hungry, He is our food and our meat is to do His will. You’re all in.
I challenge you to give Him your all today. Focus on Him today. Not just love Him with some of your heart, not just some of your soul, not just some of your mind, and not just some of your strength, but all of it. Be an all in man.
Prayer: Father, I love You and I choose to love You with not some, but all of me. I’m all in today. I will give You my time. My mind will stay on You. Let Your will be done and I will love You with all my strength, doing kingdom work. I’m giving everything I’ve got today. I trust that as I’m all in, I will experience far beyond what I thought could happen in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
