“Don’t drag your feet. Be like those who stay the course with committed faith and then get everything promised to them” Hebrews 6:12, Message Bible.
To physically drag one’s feet is defined as someone who doesn’t completely pick up one foot or the other while they walk, so they drag with each step. It also means when someone is taking too long to do something or finish.
Are you dragging your feet regarding what God has instructed you to do?
There are many reasons why we as men drag our feet. One reason is because deep down we’re unsure or afraid. God wants you to receive deep down that He loves you and He is with you. He wants you receive you not only can walk and do what He’s called you to do, He’s provided a grace to run after everything He’s put in your heart and everything He’s promised you.
No more dragging your feet about it. No more unsurety or fear over what God has spoken about your life. I declare you are mounting up with wings like an eagle. You will run and not get weary! You will walk with excitement and not faint. You will not drag your feet, but I speak over you a greater pace that you begin to move forward with regarding what He has instructed you to do. This will be your bountiful year and you will possess what God has for you.
Prayer: Father, thank You! Nobody knew but You, and I praise You for meeting me exactly where I am. Help me not to drag my feet anymore about it. I receive Your truth about who I am and what I can do. I receive Your grace to go ahead and do what You’ve told me. I will possess everything You have for me this year. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
