“And they lifted up their voices and said, ‘Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!’ So when He saw them, He said to them, ‘Go, show yourselves to the priests.’ And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed” Luke 17:13-14, NKJV.

When you ask for something from God, He may ask something of you. He will give you an instruction. It is the very step, the very opportunity to receive. He will open the door for you, but your faith is what will open the door for Him to powerfully move, so you can powerfully receive what you’re asking for.

You may ask God to help my marriage, and in the heat of a moment, He will say forgive her. When you ask God to increase you financially, at the end of the week when your paycheck arrives, He will say put some of it aside. You may ask God for some peace of mind, then the Father will ask you to read My word. When you ask Him for His will to be done in your life, He will reveal His will and the Holy Spirit will begin leading you into it. Be encouraged to yield to what He asks of you and receive today.

Prayer: Father, there is none like You! Thank You for speaking to me, and that You always hear me when I ask You for anything. Help me to have faith and do what You ask of me so I can receive. According to You word, I trust You will even do exceedingly and abundantly beyond what I can ask for or imagine! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
