“When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, we were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations,’The Lord has done great things for them.’ The Lord has done great things for us, and we are glad” Psalm 126:1-3, NKJV.

A dream is a cherished aspiration, a strongly desired goal or purpose, to consider a possibility, or something that fully satisfies a wish. Israel had been captive in Babylon for so long when God brought them out, it was like they were dreaming. The Message Bible says the first verse like this: “It seemed like a dream, too good to be true when God returned Zion’s exiles. We laughed, we sang, we couldn’t believe our good fortune. We were the talk of the nations—’God was wonderful to them!’ God was wonderful to us; we are one happy people”.

At the beginning of 2020, God told me this will be a year of dreams for His people. A lot has happened this year, which to the physical eye look all but the contrary. A lot has even happened in my own family, but I’m still finding my wife and I have dreams that have still been coming to pass! I’m finding out God hasn’t changed His mind.

This is still a year of dreams for you. A year where your dreams from God will come true. The dreams for becoming the man God has called you to be, the dreams for your ministry, your family, your finances, your restoration, and your relationships, will come true.

Courageously follow Him in faith and you will find out God hasn’t changed His mind. You will laugh in victory this year at how God restores you. What God does in your life, many will look and say just like Israel, the Lord has done great things for them. Glory to God!

Pray over and study Psalm 126
