“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” 2 Corinthians 5:17, NKJV.
I have a cousin who just turned 48. His lifestyle use to be one way, but now it is another after he met Christ about a year ago. God is still working on Him, but He has brought him a long way, and it is great to stop and thank God for the progress he has made in his life.
I know you want to farther, and there are places that you’re reaching for in your life. Yet, it is good to stop and thank God for progress. Pat yourself on the back as you look at your progress. Realize how far the Lord has brought you. Look at the transformation He has done and is working in your life. Look at your progress and be thankful. As a natural father, your heavenly Father is pleased. You may not be where you want to be, but you aren’t who or where you used to be.
Look at your progress and know it’s only getting better and better. He truly is the God that makes all things new.
Prayer: Father, I praise You for my progress. As I look back, You have brought me so far in so many areas of my life. You have changed me, and You are changing me. Help me to never get so caught up in getting somewhere, that I forget what You’ve already done. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
Study: Philippians 3:13-14

Amen ? Myra I needed to hear ? that.I Thank God for You.
Thank you for the above post. I have known the Lord since about June of 1973. We have been on great adventures together. Vietnam War, mishaps, disasters (near Shipwreck) near death and death threats, smuggled tracts in a Asian country, Malaria on a Missionary trip,( It’s a wonderful life I would not trade it for my former self.) I am being stalked right now. Thank you Lord for standing with me daily .
