You are welcome to come to Him.

“For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” Hebrews 4:15-16, NKJV.

One of our sons came crying about something he did and he had become angry. He said he didn’t want to hold his anger in, which is an area he’s working on and knew it wasn’t right to do that. So he came to us. Anytime my children have something they need, no matter what it is, I want them to know they are welcome to come to daddy anytime.

You are welcome to come to your heavenly Father for anything you need. This isn’t a fake welcome, but a real, unchanging one. All mercy is there with Him. All grace is there with Him. Jesus knows exactly what you are going through and that’s why He says come. He knows what it’s like to be in this body, in this world and how it feels to face difficult moments. You are welcome without guilt, shame, or judgment. Jesus came not to condemn, but to save.

The door is wide open to the Father and He welcomes you–the good and the not so good–into His presence and ask of Him. He wants to help you in your time of need with every area of your life and give you victory.

Prayer: Father, I needed that. Thank You for welcoming me before You. I come openly and boldly before You. I ask for Your mercy and Your grace to pour into my life right now. I ask for what I need. I welcome your goodness and Your love. I welcome Your strength and Your help in my time of need. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
