“But now, O Lord, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all we are the work of Your hand” Isaiah 64:8, NKJV.
“And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make” Jeremiah 18:4, NKJV.
A potter doesn’t rush their work. They take their time. God is the potter, and you are the clay. He is taking His time. Don’t rush the process. Don’t get off the wheel. Stay in His hands and continue to let Him do the work He is doing in your life. Sometimes, it’s not pretty, but nor does a pot look that way in the process. Yet in the end, the potter makes something great and what you didn’t know that was possible the potter could do. So is the Potter of your life.
Prayer: Father, You are the Potter, and I am the clay. I will continue to do what You say. Help me to stay on the wheel. When it gets tough, help me to remain on the wheel and allow You to do what You desire in my life. I love You and thank You for all that You do. In Jesus’ name, Amen
