One of the greatest things you can offer your wife is when you take her by the hand and say let’s pray together. When you stop and take the lead in the middle of what your facing, and say let me pray for you. When you say baby I can tell you’re going through something–let’s pray about it together.
There is power in agreement, according to Matthew 18:19. It also shows your wife how much you love her. It shows that you care about them as you cover them as her head and protection. Also when you pray together, several things will happen. God will prompt you of any wrong you’ve done to each other and will instruct you both to ask forgiveness, He will strengthen your bond together, He will cause the enemy to flee, and He will bring supernatural peace. God will use prayer to do something supernatural in your marriage and He will answer.
Join hands with your wife and come into agreement with God and His will. The marriage you want and need is found in your time of prayer.
Prayer: Father, thank You for the power available when I take the lead and pray with my wife. I thank You for the victory we have in Christ and the power of agreement. Help us to remember that our prayers together are powerful. Help me to cover her daily in prayer. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
