“Jesus replied to them, “I am the Bread of Life. The one who comes to Me will never be hungry, and the one who believes in Me [as Savior] will never be thirsty [for that one will be sustained spiritually]” John 6:35, Amplified.
You can eat stale bread, or you can eat fresh bread. Your Bread of Life is never dry, never spoiled, never old. Jesus and what He means should always be fresh to us. He gave His life so that you could have an abundant one. He gave His life so that you can have not only a last year’s hope, but a right-now hope. You have a right-now victory. A redemption that is always fresh and new. Because of Jesus, God’s mercies are fresh and new every morning.
May your experiences of Jesus and what He did for you be fresh today. May knowing He’s on your side refresh you today. You’re still anointed, still chosen, still loved, still favored and blessed, still have overcome, still reign with Christ. God still has a plan for you. Like an outpour, may it be fresh and new for you today!
Prayer: Father, I give you all the glory and praise. I give you praise for your Son giving His life for me. As I look at all that has happened in my life as a result of Jesus being in it, I can’t help but thank You. You saved me! All things have become new. I now have hope and victory. May my thoughts and meditation on what you have done, Jesus, make my life fresh and new. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
