“Many plans are in a man’s mind, but it is the Lord’s purpose for him that will stand (be carried out)” Proverbs 19:21, Amplified.

In movies, I have seen characters get cornered in an alley. They have run as far as they can go, and then it is time to surrender. For some of us, the same thing has happened with our plans. It is humbling, but they have come as far as the Lord will allow you to go with them. Now, your plans are cornered, and the conclusion is very apparent. It’s time to let God be in the driver’s seat and surrender your plans to Him. It’s time to let the will of the Lord stand.

Letting go and submitting to His will for your life can be the hardest decision sometimes, but before He formed you, He knew you. He’s ordained for you a great purpose and abundant life. Your dreams will be found within His. Like the children of Israel, your plans will keep you going in circles in the wilderness. The Father’s plans will truly get you from where you are into your promised land.

Confession: I surrender my plans to the Father. I choose to let God be God. I will do what You want me to do. I will follow His plan for me. I will not fear. He knows what He is doing, and I choose to trust Him. Hallelujah!
