“God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” 2 Timothy 1:7, NKJV.

God did not give you the spirit of fear. A spirit that expects dread or danger and drives your decision-making away from having faith. The Father gave you Who it takes and what it takes to dominate and reign in this life. He gave you what it takes to be a man of God. He gave you what it takes to build what He has called you to build, lay hold of what He told you to lay hold of and receive what His will is for you to receive.

The Holy Spirit is well able to bear you up and get you past whatever you’re facing that feels like turbulence as you go higher. Jesus displayed His power through overcoming the cross, and that same power, by His Spirit, resides in you. The same love resides in you. The same mind of Christ, one of discipline and quietness, resides in you. Receive power, love, and a sound mind instead. Receive His word instead. Keep walking by faith and moving forward, expecting of your Father because He loves you, and there’s nothing too hard for Him.

Confession: My Father loves me, His son, and there is nothing too hard for my God. You are with me, and I will not fear. I will not be intimidated by the devil or man. Through my God, I can do this! My Father has given me His Spirit, filling me with power, love, and a sound mind. I have the mind of Christ. Faith and the Holy Spirit drive my decision-making. I receive no spirit of fear, and nothing will stop me from moving forward in faith and in expectation of God. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
