Slow down in the chaos.

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure…if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things” Philippians 4:8, KJV.

You may be in the middle of a trial, but it doesn’t mean you have to be troubled.

Slow down your life today, my brother. We can be in a rush to find our way out of it, and totally miss what God is doing through it. Slow down in those moments and find what is true, what is good, and praiseworthy, and think on those things in the midst of it.

I guarantee that if you slow down, you will find God, even in the chaos.

Just knowing and thinking on these things you’ll find calm in the sea, and peace in your soul. That alone will cause you to open your mouth no matter what you see or hear in your moment and humbly thank Him. Because the Father is with you, you will slow down and see Him. You will hear His voice. There’s nothing too hard for Him and there’s nothing you won’t get through.

Prayer: Father, thank You for this moment with You and for allowing me to understand what You’re doing in my life right now. I choose to slow down and see You. Even now, I’m hearing You speak. No matter the moment, help me to think on whatsoever things are according to Your unchanging word. I will always find You in the chaos. Hallelujah! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
