“Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, ‘If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free’.” John 8:31-32, NKJV.

If a lie from the enemy has a grip on you, lay hold of the truth of God’s word. If you want to be a man of courage and stand in victory despite what you face, lay hold of God’s word. Nothing may not charge yet, but His word says it will! The truth of God about who He is, and who we are is what gives us power and enduring joy. 

Man cannot truly live free as God intended, by bread only. It takes the Bread of Life, Jesus the Word that became flesh and dwelled among us (John 1:14). He came to set us free, to give us life and that life more abundantly, and it belongs to you. Every bit of it belongs to you today.

Prayer: Father, I give You praise and I thank You for the power of Your word. Help me get Your word today. Help me to know the truth and make this man free through it. I will walk in joy and victory today. I am Your disciple Jesus and I choose to abide in Your word. As I do, I will be made free and live. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
