“I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus”Philippians 3:14, KJV.
Have you ever been moving forward in God, and then suddenly, negative things or thoughts come out of nowhere to stop your pursuit, stop your decision to believe God, stop your joy? Many times, the enemy has sent those very things to distract you and keep you from pressing into God, pressing into maturity, pressing into God’s will for your life.
Don’t allow them to. Keep your mind on His word and the prize of your high calling to be like Christ. Focus on the steps He leads you to make. You can only do what you can; let the Waymaker do the rest. Make your requests known to God about your circumstance, receive His peace, and then keep it moving. There’s life in your movement. You may be experiencing a financial challenge and need an answer, but keep it moving. Keep your eyes on Jesus and on your press. His expected end will always come.
Prayer: Thank you, Father, for encouraging me. You got me. I see the distractions that are sent to stop me. The devil is trying to hinder me. I stand in authority over him and bind him in Jesus’ name. Help me to maneuver around it all and keep my eyes on you, Jesus, and your will for me. I will walk in might, great joy, and peace. I put my attention on your word and am moving forward in you. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Good morning Father God, Director of all things and creators on earth! Thank You for all the many times that You have saved me from the enemy Father God! Father, I thank You for placing my feet on solid ground when I was wading in sinking sand Lord God! Thank You for this life that You have so graciously given me!
