“Blessed be the Lord, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised through His servant Moses” 1 Kings 8:56, NKJV.

The Lord is good and faithful to His word and to us. He keeps His promises. He is your promise keeper.

Whenever you feel like things aren’t going your way. When it seems like problems outweigh your possibilities. Remember, you have a promise keeper in God. He not only keeps them, but He’s always on time with them. Not one word He’s spoken will He allow to fall to the ground before He performs it. The Lord upholds all things by His word, and He will hold you up by it, too. It is a simple truth, but what power and resolve it helps us walk in. What joy it stirs up in us!

You have a covenant-keeping God, my brother. Rest in that today.

Prayer: Father, I thank you and exalt your Name. You are my promise keeper! It’s incredible how you always perform your word, even when I don’t see it. Right now, it will be no different in my life. Help me keep my eyes on you so I will keep being led by you. My faith is encouraged, and I rest in your truth today. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
