“So he arose and went. And behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority…was returning. And sitting in his chariot, he was reading Isaiah the prophet. Then the Spirit said to Philip, ‘Go near and overtake this chariot'” Acts 8:26-29, NKJV.
I remember when God directed me to buy another car, and as I prayed, step-by-step, the Holy Spirit said to go here, go there, and I ran right into the perfect car for me. Then, after getting the vehicle, I saw a gas station to get our kids a treat, but we saw a Family Dollar, and I stopped there. As we were about to leave, a woman approached me, saying she had to obey, and began to prophesy over my life. It truly blessed me. I’m glad He led and helped me the entire time to be there at that moment to receive.
Throughout the course of your day and your life, know that God desires to give you His son good things. Like a key that opens the door, obeying the leading of the Holy Spirit positions us to receive. Through obedience, you will find your blessing and be someone’s blessing that they’re praying for. Through obedience, you will run right into it. In tough times, He’ll navigate you through it. The Holy Spirit is your Guide, and if you follow Him, if you obey Him, you’ll be glad you did.
Prayer: Father, You are good, and there is none like you! I desire to be guided by you Holy Spirit. As I acknowledge You, direct my path. Help me, Father, to obey You. Not only to receive a blessing but also when you tell me to be one. I will be glad I did. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
