“It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life” John‬ ‭6:63‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

In these times, men are going through a lot, and we don’t know the half of their challenges. So, when you take a moment to lift them up with something God reveals to you about them and their victory, it is very impactful. They are comforted, strengthened, and encouraged when at the right moment, you give a good word in season to them.

Pursue not to withhold your good word of encouragement. It’s inspiring when you decide to give out what you feel like you need because you may be going through the fire too. You feel like you’re in the lion’s den too. Yet, you’ll drink from the same cup of encouragement you gave to someone else. You’ll see God shut the lion’s mouth in your own life as you open up yours. Jesus the Lion of Judah lives in you and when you let Him speak, His words are so powerful, so full of life, it will change them and you at the same time. As the Lord leads you, yield to what He directs you to say. Your comfort, truth, or even your wisdom may be the difference maker in a brother’s life.

Prayer: Father, thank You! People are going through a lot and they need You. Help me to let You speak through me to help someone in the midst of what they’re going through. I would want someone to do the same for me. It will be exactly what they needed and be encouraged to go on. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
