Only Believe

January 24, 2018

“While He was still speaking, someone came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house, saying to him, “Your daughter is dead. Do not trouble the Teacher.” But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, “Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will be made well.” Luke 8:49-50, NKJV

Don’t stop believing things will change. Don’t stop believing that God can get you to where you desire to be. Don’t stop believing that things will turn around. Don’t stop believing just because you face a challenge on your way to where God has promised you.

The enemy will entice you to stop believing God in one area, then, he will pursue to stop you from believing God in another and another and another. The result will be you begin to totally stop believing God and quit in your faith. Yet in contrast, when you stand and believe God, even with faith the size of a mustard seed, you can believe God for more and more and more.

Nothing is ever dead in the hands of God. Your marriage will live. Your dreams will live. Your relationship with God will live. Consider it only as adding a greater testimony to your championship belt. Regardless of how it looks, regardless of how it seems, don’t quit believing that God is going to do what He said.

Stand on His Word and only believe!

Prayer: Father, thank You for encouraging me today. It is trying my faith right now, but I will not stop believing You! I will not stop trusting You. I thank You for Who You have been and Who you are in my life. Help me to continue to stand on Your Word and what You have said to me. I say to the enemy I will not fear, but I will only believe! I believe He will come through for me. Thank You Father in advance. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
